In addition, it includes the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations 2030 Agenda: quality education (4); Gender Equality(5); Reducing Inequalities (10); Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions (16); and Partnerships to Achieve the Goals (17).

The subject, due to its double theoretical-practical nature, combines the method of the detailed exposition in class of the topics of the program, with the practical work in the classroom on maps of the Classical World and on diverse documentary sources . The learning activities include the students' personal work (preparation of classes and exams); the face-to-face activities regulated in the timetable of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters; and the assessment activities.
5. Assessment system
In both the first and second call, there will be a global evaluation test to be carried out on the date of the first and second call established in the academic calendar, which will consist of a written exercise in which there will be two closed options, among which the student must choose one and complete three types of test in each of them:
1. Develop a general topic (30% of the grade).
2. Answer four specific questions and contextualize them chronologically, two from the Greek block and another two from the Rome block (40% of the grade).
3. Historical commentary on one of the maps in the program (30% of the grade).
In all three parts, spelling and correct and clear writing will be valued, as well as the good use of terms, and the knowledge and understanding of the concepts and historical contents of the subject taught
